Mr.Answer Guy

My ex gf was super clingy and wanted kids. We ended breaking up and it was a big deal to me considering she was my first. Now the current gf I’m with i have to tell her like i love her over the phone. . I guess I’m trying to be a good guy and affectionate but it’s kind of bugging me that I’m showing more love to her then she is to me. I mean I’ve been a jerk in the past but I’m behaving this way to show i care. It’s not like she’s totally cold or anything. One thing she told me is the way she was raised was not to be dependent on men, not to show to much emotion and the difference between infatuation and love and the most she’s been with a guy is one year. What i want to know is should i kind of tone it down a notch or just keep it up? I want it to be more serious now i guess.
I’ve met her parents and sister already
